I got another question for yall guru's. My steering is locked up on my boat. The cable itself is pretty much brand new. So my question is where should i start? Ive heard mixes things about just tryin to put more grease in the fittings i hear do it and ive heard dont do it cause itll just pack the old grease tighter in there. So basically I have no clue wat to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Paul is right-disconnect the linkage and spray light oil and work the cable back and forth. Folks that put axle grease in those zerk fittings end up "gluing' the steering cable (that's what happened to my old boat per good old Huey Smith). Huey said use a very lightweight grease-he said never use axle grease on a steering cable."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Twisting the rod with a pair pliers or an adjustable end wrenchfirst will sometimes work try that before doing any banging on it with a hammer if you use a hammer to drive it back and forth insulate the shaft from direct contact with a block of wood and use lots of lubrication, careful so as not to bugger any thing or mushroom the end. Good Luck......you caaan doo it!!! And if these suggestions arent working seek out Bryan Evans! He's tha man!!West Bay Sensai...
