Bull Red Questions

I always thought that gin clear water was the good stuff, but I guess not for reds??? Please forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I've only been in the salt for a year, and I'm a freshwater guy tryin' to get a hang of things. I've always had good luck in clearer water, but I can understand that too clear hinders presentation.

Thanks for the link, definitely alot of quality information just in that one thread. I've always looked for the discolored water within the clear water, just figured it'd be easier to find when all the water isn't discolored. I definitely understand the reasoning, and well, it's also hard to argue with experience.
