  • Good Shoe Repair Shop

I'm looking for a good place to have some shoes resoled. I'd prefer to find a shop that does the repairs on site and as close to Galveston as it can be.
That being said, I'll drive into Houston if I have to. I've heard there was a shop in Santa Fe and in Alvin, but I haven't been able to locate them. Any help would be appreciated.

There's a mom and pop shop at 19th and Rutland, in the Heights, which we've used for many, many years. If you run out of options I can drop them off for you.

This place used to do good work, Bruce. Don't know if they are still open, though.

                  I'd appreciate it, Sam.

Village Shoe Shop is great but it's a heck of a hard time to find parking over there nowadays. Besides, I'd have to take out a second mortgage to get my shoes half-soled!

Went by the spot in SF this morning Bruce while I was in town. Lady outside told me that they don't do shoes anymore but they will fix your vaccum cleaner and small appliances.
