Richmond to Trinity Bay Closest ramp??

I want to fish Trinity this winter but not sure where to put in.Any help would be appreciated.

drive to sylvan beach and launch from there. cut across the channel and into trinity.

You can always launch at the locks at the Trinity River and run down the channel out and/or into the Bayous that dump into the pocket. It gets shallow in the winter, be careful.

I live in Rosenberg and fish trinity a lot in the winter time. I prefer to launch at fort anahuac unless the water is too low then I go down to double bayou. It's definitely not the closest but both are good ramps and close to where I like to fish. Definitely be careful coming out of the north end during the winter if you don't know exactly where you need to be.
