I really loved fishing the pass. It was my favorite place. I've been once after after Harvey. Gave it many tries to fish my kid's Jon boat with 9hp.. Finally, I just quit. But I've been thinking about hitting the Pass again on my 17' Bay Hawk center console. All suggestions are greatly appreciated here.

The pass can be a great spot to fish but also extremely dangerous. It also has an ever changing landscape of bars and guts. Find someone that fishes there often and take them with you. Also I’d fish around cold pass or over behind pointe west for a bit until you get more used to the currents and bars.
