New to site

Hello everyone. I just stumbled upon this site the other day and was really impressed with the free knowledge base y'all have here. I am from league city. I am a yakker and ride a Perception Stealth 13. I have been interested in trying out Chocolate Bayou/Bay and was wondering if there are other places to put a kayak in other than the marina? Perhaps somewhere closer to the bay or Intercoastal. I see a road on the east end but not sure if the water is accessible from there. Thanks for your help.

Welcome aboard. FM 2004 bridge. I am sure you will meet other yakers there. Hey yakkers any of yall ever put in at new bayou off of 2004 or Halls bayou? I know in new bayo it looks ptretty cool way up there lined with Hotdog plants and a bunch of birds . Theres a bridge up there and the fish do go up that far for most of the year. Might be a cool place to take a scenic ride.

Most yakers fish upper Chocolate Bay from the 2004 boat ramp. A couple fish further up the bayou from Lutes Marina. Wether you decide on Chocolate, New Bayou, or Halls Bayou, make sure and post a report for us.
