Thanks for the warm welcome, I haven't loked for a new 52M-28 lately, I have three and they still work. Although I have to admit the skitter-walks and soft plastics are sure productive.

welcome to the site. I, too am a new member and enjoy the site. Although I'm 75% soft plastic chunker, I love the 28 mirrolure. I have caught trout on several but the 28 has caught me more fish than any other. I've fished west bay for years and can tell you red(strawberry, plum, etc.) is in my opinion the best color by far in west galveston bay. Redfish, trout and especially flounder will smoke this bait color. as far as Jamacia beach thats the best jumping in spot on the bay. If you didn't know you have three excellent coves to wade and if you fish like I do start in jan.-feb. around mecoms reefs and greens and go towards the house and west as the weather warms. Alternate the april-may months in the surf and bay. You'll soon forget Houston!

There's lures that catch fish and lots that catch fishermen. this one is tried and true still today. I like the 808 in fall and winter.
