    year old lurker.. Greetings

    I have been watching and reading here for about a year, spend several weekends a year at GISP.
    I am mostly a surf fisherman, but the horrible weed conditions have made me change my ways,
    I grew up fishing pins.. down around corpus christi . We have a two person yak , that wife and I paddle
    around and try to fish .. my old stand by , dead shrimp..

                          Welcome to the site,
                          Don't give up on the surf.
                          Early morning, light breese, late April early May when the water temp gets well into the 70's, good incoming tide and the surf rocks. Grab a soft plastic tail (maybe Pearl or Red/white) work it in the guts low and slow and hold on.
