Hello everyone from a new member

Hello everyone. I've been visiting this site for a few weeks now due to my new interest in West Bay fishing. I live in Tomball and have driven down to fish West Bay 6 times now. I've hit up the waters off of sportsman road every time, but look forward to exploring more of the bay. I'm fishing out of a sconoe with a trolling motor, so I'm covering ground slowly. I grew up fresh water fishing, so i'm a rookie salt water man. I've been throwing dead shrimp for bottom fishing and live shrimp on a popping cork. My last trip down (this past Thursday) was my most successful, catching a nice variety of black drum, redfish, flounder, and speckled trout. I look forward to learning from you all and sharing my experiences. Thanks in advance.

Welcome. Looks like you're off to a good start. Here's a link to lots of launch sites for your mutant canoe (HAR!-I usually wait till I get to know a member before I start goofing with them, but I might as break you in right off the bat ) Just zoom in until you reach the bay-like Google Earth.
