Thanks for the topwater tips

Don't think I followed protocol when I joined by posting here. What a great resource. I appreciate all the advice you guys offer here and have studied it a lot. Caught my first trout on a top water in the surf this morning. Been a goal for a while. Since the inspiration came from this board I thought it was time to post. Only 16 or 17 imches but great fun watching the take. Better late posting than never I hope. Thanks again.
