The wind and the warm weather have arrived. It doesn't look like there is going to be much of a transition from winter to spring, not like there ever is here in Texas. From the looks of things we may be only a couple of weeks away from my least favorite time of year.
Water temps ranged from the low 60's to as high as the mid 70's this past weekend. The redfish are starting to move up shallow, but there's still plenty of trout holding to the typical winter pattern. Despite the wind, yesterday was one of the best days I've had fishing in over a month. I'll post a report later this afternoon from the weekend.
