Those big wakes I saw last week at GISP are most definitely sharks. They have to be... I think they are bulls. Read somewhere that they are territorial and makes sense because they weren't there two weeks ago and ever since they showed up, I see em every day tearin' and rollin the $..t out of big ars trout. Its time to but out the steel leader....

I use 9/0 - 11/0 personally... Baloon floats w/ 400LB main lines tied back to 200 lb tied onto 100lb then onto 65lb braid.
Lake Como has a large gar population. They swim just under the surface & spash and surface the water sometimes busting small fish. Many people mistake them when they pop up & roll over as sharks because they don't know any better.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!
