Sipping the cool beers, been rebuilding my buddies boat, just got bak to the house. Mainly sanding it and prepping it for a new gel coat. We had it out last weekend and blew the motor, so now it is getting a new paint job, a new motor and re-rigged properly with a new console and such for bay fishing."For those who have fought for it, freedom has a flavor that the protected will never know."

I know the feeling, TRUST ME! Im not going saturday
because it is the wife's "mock b-day" since I will be out of town on her real b-day. Probably hang out and maybe boil some crawfish if I can find them for a decent price. With any luck sunday and monday I can get back after it before heading back to work.

Yeah, we are documenting it slightly. We just started on it wednesday, and yesterday I said we should start taking pictures. It is an old whaler that had a side console and cap, we removed it and installed a center console, and now are re-doing everything. It is the same hull design as a TranSport or Gulf Coast Low Side. Its a sweet boat and it will be really sweet once we are done and we look a little less redneck in it.
