I got a call from VJER about this just an hour or so ago. I never met Mr. Davis, but it hits hard given that he was from my adoptive hometown and he did the same job I do. Prayers for his family are all I can offer.
Folks, if you're going into the water to help someone, make sure you have a PFD. Water does things we can't understand.From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."Comment

Am I reading the article correctly in that the child had on a PFD?
Then the man jumped off the boat with out a PFD on to rescue the child?
Then a fisherman on the bank pulled the child from the water?West End Anglers - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.Comment
