  • Good Ramp in Clear Lake Area for Deep Draft Boat

I have a buddy who is having a 32 yellowfin delivered on Saturday. He is looking for a good, wide, deep boat ramp in the Clear Lake Area to practice launching this beast. I am thinking Clear Lake Park. With the north wind, I think the tide may be a little low for the ramps under the Kemah Bridge. Thoughts?

Under the Kemah bridge,on the Kemah side, is the deepest one I know of in the Clear Lake area.
    Today is a new day!!

Get FP10 to help..... he's an expert!
If he's just practicing, I'd go somewhere other than CL on the weekend...tie up a boat ramp will get you a few looks! But yeah, Kemahside and that Crawfish Festival they have going on there(under the bridge), there shouldn't be much of a crowd!
      Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!

Hey, how did you and Arsola do in Baffin a couple of weeks back? That wind get you??? We had to leave Gorda early because Jana's dad was taking a turn for the worse but we caught buku fish the day we had to leave. In the river out of the wind...
