It was a great run for Team Saltwater Assault and I had a blast!!!!

The final tourney was a good one and we definatly had our shots to win it all even under some tuff windy brutal conditions. Saturday Danny and myself caught well over a 100 keeper Trout on topwaters in West Bay. By noon Saturday we only had about 6lbs for 3 Trout. After luch is when we found our better fish. We had several missed fish that either missed the topwater or pulled off that were easy 6lb fish. We ended up with a little over 10lbs for Saturday.

Sunday was a little tougher as it was an early bite that didn't last long. In the first two hours we had 1 4lb Trout and 1 6lb Trout along with 7 or 8 2 to 3lbers. Around 12 Danny stuck 2 4lbers that gave us 13 and some change I think. After that it was a whole lot of nothing.

We ended up 5th in the championship and just fell short for Team of Year. I think we ended up 2nd for Team of Year.

A big congrats to John and Eric for Team of Year honors. Thats two for them this year as they are a tough team to beat.

Another big congrats to Capt. Lynn for putting together an awesome tourney series and I'm already looking forward to next year.

It was a great time, a great run, and I had an awesome partner in DPOP this year.

                        Thanks.

Thanks everyone. It was a long and tough series, with a very close battle going on until the very end for "Team of the year". The weather this weekend was a true test. Congrats to Greg and Danny, I had a feeling y'all were going to make it very close at the end.
