Has anyone heard of a pending new state record trout caught in Baffin

I heard a 14.5# was caught by some pier fisherman and they gutted it. Then a couple of days later 15# caught near by wade fishing with croaker. The guy that told me apperntly was there the with these people the day before and came home early. But seems i am the only one to hear this story so far. You would think it would be all over the internet.

That's about the size of one my dad caught back in the 80s in La. Measured 36 inches. We ate it. Silly coonarses.

ahhh ..... the ever record breaking trout story ...

Funny thing is my uncle watched a sail line guy from Oaklahoma fillet a 32+" one day on bird Island .... my uncle has released more than a dozen 29"ers and is still in search of the 30" so he knows what a big trout looks like ...... but 14 and ahalf pounds shatters the current record so its hard to believe the story.
