Orleans Seafood restaurant on the Katy Fwy, near Katy (catfish with a bite), Babins Restaurant on the Katy Fwy (variety not usually found in most restaurants), Goode Company Seafood (Campechana & Mesquite Smoked Seafood), and Pappadeauxs (later in the evening, at the bar, with appetizers or a full meal). Cheap seafood lunch? Connies on Airline, across from the Fruit Market, just south of the North Loop.Fish or work...Hmmm what should I do?

You talking about Pasta Lamonte's on Stafford Rd a block south and east of I-10 and Hwy 6??? Just across the street from the original Lupe Tortilla's? That place is off the hook! The Catfish Piquante is the best I have ever had, bar none. One of my bud's friends used to own it until he got caught cheating... now his ex-wife owns it. I used to work a half mile from there and ate there at least every other week.

Yes thats the place. The Catfish Piqaunte is best in Houston. Its not on the menu but ask for the shrimp picaunte even better.Toasted raviolis awesome soft shell crab awesome. Be sure to try the tomato caprese one of the best in town. You just cant beat this place for good food and quality atmosphere.Make sure you eat at the bar seperate from the restuarant. I have my Christmas dinner there every year. I Know Barbie and have heard the story. She has re married they have the same cook there. So if you want to have a nice meal and really chill with the wiffey go there around 1 pm and eat at the bar then hang out while every one leave and then enjoy a first class place with your better half. BTW maybe the best Calimari anywhere!!Originally posted by Funk Shoal Brutha View PostYou talking about Pasta Lamonte's on Stafford Rd a block south and east of I-10 and Hwy 6???
