Whats up old friends. Figured I'd say hello again from DFW. I was able to make it down to the Angleton for fathers day wkend, it was a real last minute/spur of the moment type trip since the wife had some competition thing for her cheerleaders to go to that I forgot about, and she took the kid, so I figured i'd head down.

I really just wanna say thanks to the Blockade Runners crew. A buddy and I wanted to get out and wade for a couple hrs (time was real limited) but my boat is up here in DFW so I called Sandy, and figured he'd laugh at me when I asked him for a taxi ride from the ramp out to TT bayou to drop us off for an hr or two so we could soak up some salt. The blockade runner crew came through again, MANY MANY thanks. My buddy Josh wouldnt shutup about the Camp,.especially Bert's flounder rig, on the way home, he never believed me when I told him stories about it, I guess. We grew up wadefishing and gigging off Bluewater Highway in middle and high school. Then he went off to the Marine Corps shortly before I bought my boat so we havent fished together in prob 6 years so he wasnt around when I would stop by the camp the last couple yrs.

Anyway, I dont visit the Coastal Community forums so much anymore. Fishing up here sucks when you grew up in the salt marsh. Too many wakeboarders and jetskis doing circles all over to really have a quiet day out. I'm super busy w/ school right now and prob wont be able to make it back down until after January. But I should have alot more free time (if I get the job I want after school) and then I should be able to come down and hang out at BR's more, as long as its cool with the crew. I've always loved it out there.

Again, thanks fellas, tight lines and stay safe out there. Dont take that front porch sunrise/sunset for granted.

PS, where are the 2 or 3 pics you guys took as we were leaving?

It was great to have you out there again Lance, and it was good to meet Josh. Thanks to Willie and Bert who played taxi drivers.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
