Greetings from John!
A great park and walk-in entry for wading, kayak fishing, and catching bait is on the back side of Scholes Field and the Moody Gardens Golf Course at the end of Airway Lane in Galveston, Texas.
The landing light bridge is easily accessible and the area provides great trout, redfish, and flounder fishing. The bottom has some oyster shells during the entry and to towards the first home on the left (West side) with the remaining area a stable, mud bottom. It is also a great area to catch bait.
This spot is in a residential area and I know everyone will be quiet, clean, and transparent to the homeowners of the area.
