  • Old gasoline?

    Hey guys,

I have 2 5 gallon containers of gas from when I was coming back from Ike (about 5 months old). I did not add fuel stabilizer and the cans are topped off with very little air space.

Is this gas OK to add to my truck? Will it cause any damage? What about adding a little bit at a time to my truck when I fill it up so it's not all old gas in the tank?

    Thanks.

Just mix it a little at a time.

Smell it, if it smells funny I would not use it.

I second that. It won't hurt it

It will be fine if you do as FOF says. Just don't run it in an outboard!

I'll 4th mix it no more than 50-50 with new stuff and you will be fine.
