HP Leaves the PC, Tablet & Smart Phone Market

Bowing to fierce competition from Apple the new CEO of HP has announced that the company will leave consumer markets in favor of "bread & butter" business and institutional markets.

Yep. They came in too late. My dad is a senior EE at HP and he got put into R&D with their phone division. He left after a year and went back to his management position. He said that trying to catch up and even compete with Apple and other companies was like trying to run up Mt. Everest with a 90 lb backpack. That made me chuckle.
