InKed Angler -
Mom's first Red. Lol thought she was going to have a coronary. She is from north Louisiana and is used to bank and creek fishing for brem, so she insisted on using a cane pole. We we got her a nice black widow and 3 foot off the bank she hooks a 23"er. I never laughed so hard, snapped the pole in half. Needless to say I had to wrap my hand in the line and pull him in. Biggest fish she's ever caught

It was hilarious, reminded me of the first red I ever hooked into when I was 12. It was the first time my dad had ever heard me cuss, and phewww I flew off the handle. I landed a 35" one for my first. Wrestled with him on the line for about 20 minutes running in and out of the dock. Lol good times...
