    5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Abolition Formula Alternative Rock_____________________________________
Abolition Formula has created quite a buzz in a very short time on Bay Area Houston's live music scene. In less than a year since their formation, this young band from League City has gotten the attention of Scout Bar, 93.5 FM-“The Buzz,” Pulse Magazine, a number of other local musicians and a steadily growing fan base. So much so that they earned themselves an opening spot for the return of ERASETHEVIRUS show on Sunday night! Their music is solid and their performance was tight. Definitely a band to keep on the watch list! Abolition Formula started in 2010 with members Bryce Bucks, Steven Cunningham, Mike Romero, and Eric Yudell. Accomplished songwriters and singers, the band focuses on heavy rock and some beautiful ballads. Their acclaim has reached incredible numbers of fans throughout Houston and the surrounding areas and sought after by many venues. Their sound is exciting and infectious and has the earmarks of a much more experienced band. It’s not possible to sit down – you find yourself so infused with their alternative heavy rock music and stage performance.

The band jumped into the studio and started working on cutting their first EP demo right away. Shortly after making a several originals, Abolition Formula started polishing their live sound by getting a rehearsal space at Texas Music Studios. Now the band is making the final touches to their CD.After many songs were recorded the band decided to take a new direction and have polished their live performances and set list to rock the stage! They are a young band, but have had a following that just keeps growing. Abolition Formula is playing live shows all around the Houston area and the Scout Bar in Clear Lake, can’t seem to get enough of them as do the increasing amount of fans. They will be playing shows throughout the summer and have plans to go on tour within the year.

    6:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. Bubba Wesly (Lead vocals / Acoustic Guitar)___________________________
Bubba Westly is young but a very experienced musician that has accomplished a lot in his young career. Don't under estimate this young guy, Bubba Westly is new to the Texas Music scene, but this new music is sure to blow minds and blow up quick. Being raised in church, naturally his first experience in music was taught to him through old hymns. Bubba Westly first made it to the professional music world at the young age of 13. Touring with a blues and Christian rock band took up the majority of his time, but it never took away his passion of baseball. After graduating high school Bubba Westly attended college on a baseball scholarship. After a year of concentrating on just baseball he figured out his true passion of music never left him ultimately, he left his baseball scholarship to follow his heart and true passion of music. His musical influences and backgrounds are shown throughout his music. Whether he's playing something from classic southern rock to contemporary country of today this guy can cover it all! So play it loud and be proud, Bubba Westly and the Whistlin' Bullets are sure to be one of the new hit sounds!!!
