  • Ribbonfish

Picture of a ribbonfish caught this weekend between Galveston and Pelican Island. My buddy and I landed four in a row.

First ones have ever seen, but I am new to the area. Are these common?

Somewhat common around the jetties. When my Uncle went kingfishing, he targeted them and I was on bait duty catching, unhooking and tossing them into the baitwell.

moonpie has a great microwave recipe dish for those that he claims are better than his microwave sheephead dish.
