This is Sadie. She is a joy to watch work and one of the most loveable dogs you'll ever meet. She has a great personality at home but when she gets in the field she changes. She doesn't allow petting she whines if you miss a bird & she's one heck of a retriever!
We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

Claire...10 year old Jack Russell Terrier or sometimes Jack Russell Terror
She pretty much goes everywhere with me...office, the boat, the car, running, you name it. Real athletic girl...at ten can still run over 10 miles...when she sees my running shoes she starts stretching...when she sees me loading up fishing gear she will sit at the truck with that look of "you ain't going without me!"...sigpic

We have three dogs, Jack, Jill and Watch.
"Jack" is an English pointer, pit bull mix and is the alpha of our pack. He's had three knee surgeries and oddly enough, he's worth it. On the weekends when we bring him to the island, he insists on runs along the beach to harass the birds. He is quite partial to 2112's dog, although she (and Burt) don't know it yet.
"Jill" is a Black Lab mix
"Watch" is a boxer mix. "Watch" came to us from the streets of Washington DC
Jill and Watch are inseperable. They've kept each other in top form by chasing, wrestling and overseeing their turf in our (well, their) yard.
Watch is very intelligent and amiable. He's visited the Boneyard pub (on Washington/Hempstead rd.) several times for the social (butt smelling) happy hour.
Over the years we've fostered over 30 dogs for adoption through the Homeless Pets Placement League. At his baptism, Sam Houston was told his sins were washed away. He reportedly replied, “I pity the fish downstream.” - Nov. 19, 1854 - Independence, Texas
