Big Girls Love Cold Weather

I've been catching some solid trout this winter but the highlight thus far is this big girl I landed on Christmas Day...

She was a little over 28.5" and just under 8.25lbs. She ate a TTF Hackberry Hustler in morning glory. She was released after the photo.

Sorry for the crappy self-portrait but getting a decent shot while wading solo at night isn't exactly easy to pull off...

Nice . Big girls and cold weather go hand in hand. Of course with a cold beer in the other one.

I like the way you think but it's kinda hard to twitch a topwater or corky with only one hand.
