Went down around the GISP around 3pm was in the water by 4:15pm, caught a few rat reds right off the bat, eased up to a channel that goes from 3' to 7' in about 5 feet with a muddy shell bottom, and started catching specs every other cast until i couldnt see no more (mostly cause of super thick fog), lots of throwbacks and borderline keepers but ended 7 nice fish from 17-19" and one about 22" all caught on baby bass assassin salt/pepper with chartruese tail 1/4oz jighead, great way to end the year.

Great catch, that fog was pretty bad at Jamaica Beach, I could not see the end of our canal.
