Well for a while now I've trying to get one of my friends his first saltwater fish on a lure (I already got him his first bass). He has been with me and drifter when we have been tearing reds up has hooked up 2 times on a red and had the hook spit both times. Well finally it finally happened I was just gonna go screw around in the diversionary and told him lets go. We were throwing traps and Norton soft plastics he had a trap on and bam there it was his first red on a lure and it was almost legal 19 3/4 ! I hooked up on a big flattie there and lost him got him right to the bank and spit the hook. So we ran over to the dike after that to fish off the rocks I ended up with a flounder on a crank bait surprisingly and then not 5 minutes later he hooked up on his first flounder on a lure! All and all a great day out!
