1-7-11 report

Headed out of the Diversionary around 8:30 a.m. with glass calm conditions and to my surprise not 500 boats on the water only seen 5 other boats from 10-3. Put the trollin motor in the water and starting workin' mud mixed with shell in about 2 1/2-3 1/2 ft of water, water was a lil stained but for the most part green, started out with salt and pepper w/chart tail caught one keeper rd about 21'', no more takers, then the wind started to pick up and starting throwing purple and chartreuse tail 4'' gulp shrimp and starting hammerin em.
Caught at least 20 rat reds most about 18'' and dink trout. Ended up with 5 rds up to 25'' and one trout right at 20''

The reds were out today caught a few and lot them live until the redfish tourney.Nice report.

O yea it was a great day we went on Monday also and caught around 15-20 all of them 20" or better biggest was exactly 27 7/8". But like you were saying them rats are always a blast to catch!!!!
