There's one of those local places in Santa fe also. Same deal.. If they're not there you just get what you want and leave the money. Good stuff!

It makes sense, but "local honey' is harder to come by than is advertised. I would like to think that Regions is close enough... "Upper Coast, Coastal Bend, Laguna" is a close enough region to account for most allergy remediation.
I like the stronger/darker Honey that is advertised as "local", but since I have no allergies, I just enjoy it.

My wife puts local honey in her tea or coffee during the spring and fall allergy season and it works for her. Just one point on the curve but she is a believer. I could be wrong but I think there is some science behind that claim.

My father kept several hives,The clover Honey had the best flavorand the Sumer honey was daker and smelled like the local flowers, I believe the sumer was more like medicene, but the spring clover was the best, I took a few stings but it was worth it!

I love honey and it's important to support the local dealer! Nothing is wrong about that. My uncle has a farm with bees and of course we get all our honey from them. He always uses serenata flowers because he thinks the honey gets better then. haha* Well I'm sure that it doesn't influence the taste too much, but I believe that it depends on the bees themselves.
