Surf Anyone??

We are thinking about hitting the surf for a few hours in the early am. Will be walking in about 5:30am.
Probably meet at Jamaica entrance and walk straight out. Plan on being out of there by 8:30.

there are definatly some nice trout in the surf right now. Seemed to be near or beyond the river of mullet during the mid-day.

Most of them fell to live bait, shrimps and fins. My plastics just didn't look right today, but the fish were definatly there.

I can understand that. I just don't want to get on the water with all the crowds out there. If I had a house with my boat hanging in the slip, I would go out for a few hours, but I have been itchin' to hit the surf, so we will give it hell tomorrow!
