What Water Temp Before You'll Wet Wade

The water temperature is getting close but still a little too cool for me to begin wet wading.

What does the water temperature need to be before you will wet wade?

Now is good for me. I never wade the surf with waders, just don't do it. I will jump in the water if it is cool only if there is a lot of action I can't get to with my trolling motor.

I usualy start wading heavy (wet) in the middle of May.

I've been wading the surf for a couple weeks now. Waded the bay for an hour or so yesterday. Wear long pants in the bay the jelly is pretty thick in spots.

the gulf coast of Fla, that IS bath water.....But 75 and up is good for me....

I'm pretty much a wimp when it comes to cold, but it was plenty warm last weekend at the BlackJack tournament.
