  • Yamaha TRP lower unit.

My boat is currently at DMS in Sea Isle. Mike is replacing the lower unit on the 150 TRP with a single prop lower unit.

He says the TRP unit needs a rebuild kit as it grinds when going into reverse. I decided that I don't need that fancy unit taking the kids out fishing.

Therefore I am willing to sell the TRP lower unit. The motor is a 1998, but has spent @ 1/2 its life in a barn. The lower unit has never been rebuilt except for a couple of water pump jobs. The two SS props were reworked by Mike Hood last year; they have maybe 2 hours of cruising on them.

The TRP units have a low water pick up so you can run with almost half the props out of the water. It also has a great hole shot.

Just by looking on the web, I am askin $1,000.00.

You can see it at DMS or call Mike. (832) 657-6564.

Contact me by E-amil tad@cherokey-piping.com. I am going to be on the road the next few days, but will have e-mail access.
