The skies look much better than they did the day we went out there.
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

Isn't that the old Delhomme lodge???????? That's the only name I ever called it, not sure if it was called anything else. I haven't been out there in a couple of years. Ike sure did a number on it, what a shame.

                  Cool pics.

1st. Thats a very cool boat you have. It has to be fun to put it through its paces for wich it was meant.

2nd. Them gators, some of them look like they are on the large size.

3rd. Was one of those camps yours?

4th. whats up with the "air boat" I can see. Is it parked in the grass or in water?

Its the Old Delhome place your correct Willie.

Bert- Yes that's an airboat on the backside of the levee, I lease a hunting spot off a smaller lease thats away from the main house. I was told they were going to rebuild the main house but our little green house that sat off away from the main house is completely gone. It was a fun place to go during the summer Upper Trinity, A/C, Stoves, SAT TV... It was nice waking up at 5:00 AM, decoys already placed out in the water from the day before, just take the go-devil over to the pit blinds and your ready for your hunt.

Im sorry for your loss Coe, I didn't realize you lost so much, had no clue is actually more like it.
I knew you had the Go Devil boat but figured you was using it in Wbay, Xmas and Chocholate bay marhes-its all making sense now.
Hum, you still have the lease there, are you on the rebuild side of things?

I was just leasing a spot with my Dad... We had just finished redoing the interior and repairing the camp house before the storm... Had just drained the blinds for opening weekend which is when Ike hit... They found Go-Devil boats up on I-10 it was a mess... We got back a lot of the boats, the main house has permission to rebuild I'm not sure if they are going to let the camp house rebuild if we do we may just bring in a trailer on the barge or something. Its all up in the air.

Oh man, that sucks. That gator-tail is definitely is the 4x4 of boats though. Pretty sweet ride, gotta love the drifting too.

I'm still pissed I blew the one cast I had to hook up on a trophy nutria.

WTF...untill then I suppose they leave you hanging in suspense and let you keep paying on a lease you may or may not get to improve on?
                              Thats gotta hurt.
Once again, thats a bummer and Im sorry for you. Hope it all works out.
