Prop shaft seals

I am replacing the 2 prop shaft seals. Is there a way to do this without removing the gear casing?

Never mind.... Utube is a wonderful thing. Step by step video all the way showing how to remove seals while casing still in hub. Saved me at least $300. Seals were jacked due to a idiot fishing the boat launch. Jammed up my prop pretty bad. I did not realize string could do that much damage but live and learn. I am wondering now since water was getting into lower unit could this have caused a plaining problem?? I will find out this weekend.
