Well since nobody call back last nite, I walked in around 5 am, wind was blowing right into the flats with waves around 1 ft., started off throwing a top water cause that what I already had tied on, worked it for an hour with nothing to show, switched over to plastics on a 1/4 oz jig head, working it along & not a tap until I was looking around & letting it sit on the bottom, once I started working it again, fish on, well for the next 30 minutes & slow hopping it on the bottom, I caught about 12 dink trout, no keepers, I was the only one around & after the last few trout landed there was a kayak potlicking me, he pulls up & starts casting to where I was casting, no big deal, he can have all the dinks he wants, he stayed about 40 yards out, saw the rain clouds coming & headed in around 7:30 am

Harvey & I hit the north shore this morning to no avail. I only got one decent bite on a corky and lost it. Harvey must have caught a dozen or so dink trout on soft plastics so we came back empty handed. Wind was howling but we didn't have any rain.

Enjoyed the heck out of it my friend. Next time I'll remember to get my bait box out of the truck so I won't have to use your soft baits up.
