Well since nobody call back last nite, I walked in around 5 am, wind was blowing right into the flats with waves around 1 ft., started off throwing a top water cause that what I already had tied on, worked it for an hour with nothing to show, switched over to plastics on a 1/4 oz jig head, working it along & not a tap until I was looking around & letting it sit on the bottom, once I started working it again, fish on, well for the next 30 minutes & slow hopping it on the bottom, I caught about 12 dink trout, no keepers, I was the only one around & after the last few trout landed there was a kayak potlicking me, he pulls up & starts casting to where I was casting, no big deal, he can have all the dinks he wants, he stayed about 40 yards out, saw the rain clouds coming & headed in around 7:30 amToday is a new day!!
