    Anyone read any good angling books lately? I have a long flight coming up soon...so, figured i'd spend it learning something useful!

      Fiction? When's the last time you read The Old Man and the Sea? Pretty bad arse hand lining a marlin, fighting off the sharks, etc

        Scientific Angler! Thats the one I heard of and couldnt remember the darn name for the life of me. Thanks! And you yes the Old Man and the Sea is a good one...Good Ole Hemingway.

              Try to find some articles by A.C. Becker,Jr. He may have even published a few books. I think he used to write for either Galveston newspaper or maybe Corpus. Good reading and stories.

                      Let me write somehting up for you and you can read it on your flight..

                      It would go something like this - - -
                      Wait for take off, order a scotch and put in ipod, down it, shut your eyes and go to sleep! My ritual at least twice a week...

                      all kidding aside I am going to have to check out these books.
