  • Trolling Motor Question

I'm in the market for a new trolling motor for a Sea Hunt Triton 202 and based on the design of the bow I'm pretty sure that I'm only going to be able to use a transom mounted motor. Anyone have any experience with a trolling motor mounted like this? Thoughts? recommendations? I'm thinking that I'm going to get the Riptide 80. Thanks!

    Posting some photos would help...

    Also I would get a 24V TM.

Sorry. Here is the Bow. The Transom is pretty standard...

I've seen some with a bow mounts that are removable. The only issue is your anchor locker would be rendered useless when TM is on the boat. The stern mounted ones work too. There are a lot of ways you can make it work.

Any boat mechanic you would recommend to contact to install the motor or review options in the Galveston Area?

X100 on Evans - I just had them install a riptide in the Majek along with an onboard charger and quick disconect system. They did an awesome job and i highly recommend them.
