Lori and I slept in, had coffee and made it to the dock at 10am. Got to the spot at 10:05 and Lori hooked a big red. Got it to the boat but it was too big for the net. Turned my back to grab the lip grip and plink, there went the line on the prop. Watched a $4 pink Outcast cork swim away about 3" under the water. We caught rat after rat, black drum after black drum then out of nowhere, she hooked up with a nice flounder. 22" and her 1st one ever. I picked up an 18" flounder and then on my next cast, the drag was singing again. This time a 27-1/2" red. Lost others and couldn't set the rod in the rod holder long enough to even grab a water. Brought home 2 flounder, 1 red and 2 nice crabs for stuffing.
