  • Outboard Stand Help Needed

Alright guys, as most of y'all know, I have been working on an outboard over the summer. I want to build a more permanent stand, because mine keeps on breaking, and I plan on working on outboards for awhile. Do y'all have any plans for one that I will be able to build myself? Thanks

Come by my shop and see the different options, wood and metal. Then build from there

I wish I could come by your shop Mr. Evans, but I live too far away to do that. Anyways, I am thinking about getting these saw horse brackets http://www.harborfreight.com/pack-of...ets-67163.html . Then I can get some 2x4s and make it to the dimensions I want. Then I can mount a board to the crossbeam to clamp the motor to. Does this seem like a good idea?? Thanks

Build the one on Gater's link. It has the cut list & prints to build from. All you need is some 2X4's, a skill saw, a drill, screw gun & screws.
