Flounder in the Ditch

Fished the ditch (GSC) yesterday with friends Michelle and Phil Ortiz. We caught 25 flounder (all on Flounder Pounders) with only 3 being keepers (over 16", personal limit). The boys are on the road but the girls still haven't left for the dance, hopefully this weekends cold front will get them to leave home.

Yeah, been fishing with him for a few years and is a good day when I can out catch the master when he has his game on. Flounder fishing is usually the only time I can out catch Michelle so it was a very good day.

Crab traps tend to attract flounder, had neighbor caught a good sized one in his it somehow worked its way in after the bait. Most of the big girls are still up in the flats, we got 12 yesterday in the channel but only 4 keepers. Still haven't seen any quantity in my run holes in West.
