Termo and myself broke our no weekend fishing oath and got out this morning for a little expedition. Caught a little bird activity early but fish were small. Termo ended up with three good trout, one over 20" and I had one keeper trout, two slot reds(released) and one rat about 17", one keeper flounder and two pancakes. Bite was sporadic and water was choppy but slicked off nice around noon. Fish were caught on salt& pepper/chartreuse sand eels and mine came on Hogie jacks shrimp tails in pearl/pink, plum/white and rootbeer/ pink. Gave the fish to the bait camp cook and almost took 'em back when he scowled about the reds. Some folks can't be pleased. I guess.
