Flounder run
Went out this a.m. for a solo wade and managed two keepers after I dropped the kiddo off at school (17.5 and 18.5"). They were mostly hitting the pink grub tail but had one talk the lime. Throwing into deep water then working it back to the shallows. Most hit with a bounce bounce drag retrieve, notta on a straight retrieve. Had one break my line after a good run, but think I had a bad place in it as I just landed a flounder. Fished from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm., mainly yo stay and help the man next to me get those big girls in.
The gentleman next to me got a 24"+ that I had to help him get in his basket. It was a saddle for sure.
Back to the deer woods and then back to the flounder with the 5 man limit beginning sat.
I have no idea where the skunked came from??
