Louisiana??? That's not many trout . . . . not enough for a sea rape. Just sayin'.

I think I sense a bit of sarcasm in those words!

lol the first pic got in there by accident ..loook reel close and you will see seegulls pounding shrimp over reds.

back on topic..Myself and slickfish headed down to Hackberry,La with some other Salt's and had a blast. Most of the morning bite were on Corky Fatboys and big super spooks....Tequila sunrise. The afternoon bite was Fatboys and soft plastic...in 5ft to 4 ft of water over mixed shell and Cajun grease. One of the days catch was not photo oped due to time space continuum constrictions.I think i will head east before i head south anytime in the future. That place is awesome. Most of the fish we caught were Texas legal size.Four days of Cast & Cast....Sandy your crazy for leaving.

Now that's more like it! Chris, if fishin' was the only consideration, I'd have NEVER left. I left because I couldn't make an honest livin' as a teacher. Oh, and the crooked politicians, and the public schools were like prisons, and etc. I love Louisiana, but it's a better place to visit than it is to live/work there. I could see myself moving back when I retire, but not if I still have Blockade Runners.

I agree it would be a good place to retire to as well.

Where was the second picture taken? I had a pursuit that ended up in the bay the beginning of the year. Looks like the same spot.
