I have a 12V minn kota i-pilot for my 1860 mud boat and it moves it around great. The remote is nice you don't have to worry about holding a tiller thus concentrate on fishing.
Minn Kota I-Pilot 24V if you have a big boat, 36V if you have a tank on the water lol.
I love mine. Minn kota vs. motor guide is like ford vs. chevy good products you'll just always be partial to one or the other. We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

24V thrust is 82lb and 36V is 101lb. Nice thing about I Pilot is the re-track features, anchor and spot lock. You can also store upto 6 diffrent drift patterns and set and run them over and over again.Bryan Evans

Bryan set me up with an Minnkota SP 70/iPilot and a MK charger for my CC skiff, and so far I love it. My main reason for going with Minnkota was the spot lock feature, and it works as advertised. MG, does not have anything like it. I have yet to try the retrack feature, but I am sure I will in the next few weeks. Give Bryan a call and he will set you up.
