Saltwater Assault/ Fishwestend 2010 points tourney
Just throwing this out there to see if anyone would be interested. I spoke with Coe earlier about putting together a series of tourneys for 2010 starting in Feb and ending in July. It would basically be 1 tourney a month for 6 months, at the end the one with the most points win. My goal is to have a minimum prize of $1000 for 1st, $500 for 2nd, and $300 for third. This ofcoarse will be based on the number of entries. Trophies will be handed out at the end of the tourney aswell as giveaways throughout the tournement. Prizes may include rods, reels, guided trips, and whatever else I can come up with.
This will be a big stringer tourney for up to 5 Trout or 3 Trout/2 Reds or 4 Trout 1 Red. Plus bonus points for live fish that are released.
This is just in the early stages but I would like to see if there is enough interest to follow through with it.
Is 6 months too long? Would a 4 month work better? Give me some ideas.
