Discarded shrimp net?

I am looking for just a small segment of an old shrimp boat net. Has anyone seen one discarded? I know a lot of shrimpers patch their nets, so I know it's a long shot, but it's worth a shot.

Talked to the old man. He's got one he needs to tar as soon as this from gets thru and it warms back up. I pick yours up from you and dip it at the same time.

He also said he has some scraps I can grab. 2x4 feet shouldn't be a problem.
