  • Finally Moved the Boat

After all the remodeling on the canal home, I finally moved the boat down. The work wouldn't have been completed if I had it down there earlier.

Since I had to launch, I thought I might as well fish a little. Pat came down to help and he popped 2 Specs on our first drift.

I missed a couple of bites and then nothing for the next hour or so. Started a long drift and them it was my turn with a couple of Reds on Big Eye, Texas Roach on 1/8 oz. in 3-4 ft of water.

All fish were released to fight again. Now it was time to find my way across Jones, under and through the RailRoad bridge and then put her in the sling.

Now the fun begins as I get to learn West Bay and hopefully don't get stuck to many times!

There is going to be a lot of fish swimming in west bay with sore mouths...

      Cool digs!

        Nice spot!
BTW If your buddy doesn't quit high-sticking that rod, it's going to be about a foot shorter!
