My girlfriend has really been wanting to learn to fish and asks me everytime we hit the bay to teach her, but preparing for the Redfish Series this weekend I haven't had time. So this afternoon I took her to the pond near the house in the yaks and told her what to throw and where....this was the result, her first fish ever.



We caught 6 this size and bigger in about 2 hours hitting reeds and grass beds.

She's already asking to go back out in the morning haha. She's seen me pick tailing reds off and she got exited, so next time I get on some I'm letting her get her first red. I told her THAT would be a fight for her. She said "now I see why you ALWAYS wanna go, I'm addicted" lmao.
